CompuLaw LLC Releases New
Immigration Rules Databases
LOS ANGELES –
September 7 - CompuLaw LLC, publisher
of calendar/docket matter management software with built-in court rules
databases, recently announced the addition of four new immigration rule
sets to its comprehensive collection of nationwide court rules offerings.
The first two rule sets are for
attorneys that practice before a United States Immigration Court:
U.S. Immigration
Court – Rules of Procedure (US:IMCT-RP)
and U.S. Immigration Court
– Practice Manual (US:IMCT-PM).
The Rules of Procedure set contains deadlines from 8 CFR Part 1003,
Subpart C (entitled Immigration
Court - Rules of Procedure).
The Practice Manual rule set includes deadlines from the
Immigration Court Practice Manual.
The second pair of rule sets are for
attorneys that practice before the United States Board of Immigration
Appeals: U.S. Board of Immigration Appeals - Code of Federal
Regulations (US:BIA-CFR) and U.S. Board of Immigration Appeals -
Practice Manual (US:BIA-PM).
The Code of Federal Regulations set contains deadlines from 8 CFR
Part 1003, Subpart A (entitled
Board of Immigration Appeals).
The Practice Manual rules databases include deadlines from the
Board of Immigration Appeals Practice Manual.
"CompuLaw's wide-ranging court rules
packages are designed to make tracking critical dates and deadlines
simple," said David J. Kalmick, President and CEO of
CompuLaw LLC.
“Our new immigration rule sets not only
apply to matters before immigration judges – including deportation,
exclusion, removal, bond, rescission, departure control and asylum
proceedings – but also cover matters before the Board of Immigration,
including the review of orders of immigration judges and decisions made by
the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).”
Vision is CompuLaw’s trusted
calendar/docket matter management software that enables attorneys to
automatically schedule critical dates in accordance with court rules,
greatly reducing the possibility of missing deadlines through error-prone
and time-consuming manual docket calculations.
CompuLaw offers
rules databases for all 50 states, including State, Federal, Appellate,
Supreme Court, Bankruptcy, Intellectual Property and more. Last year,
CompuLaw released 427 separate rules updates (rule sets updated 4,538
