CompuLaw Announces New Internet Based
Customer Training Classes

LOS ANGELES – May 31, 2006 – CompuLaw LLC, publisher of calendar/docket software with built-in court rules databases, announced today the addition of new online training seminars (Webinars) for CompuLaw customers, focusing on the features and product modules in CompuLaw Vision™ 9 and Vision Web Portal™ 3.  The one-hour online seminars are designed to teach users the fundamentals of CompuLaw products, and also provide a detailed overview of new capabilities, customization options and user benefits.

“I am amazed at the effectiveness of the Webinars,” said Alice Henderson, Network Administrator at Musick, Peeler & Garrett.  “It's the next best thing to being there - maybe better, because I don't have to get out in traffic. The courses have been well organized and the presentations clear. I feel like I have a front-row seat.”

The Vision 9 Webinar covers all new product features, including party tags (for inserting party information into event descriptions), event exclusions (for rules-based events), summary pages (for IP rules), Formula Change History (see all changes made to any of the formulas in CompuLaw maintained rule sets), new filter options for reports (filter by office and more) and the new CompuLaw Information Center (CIC - a private Web site that is accessed from the main screen of Vision, with useful information about courts, court rules technology tips, and more). The Webinar agenda includes discussions and demonstrations of changes in court rules maintenance, such as the formula change history, various formula calculation changes and other useful Vision features.

CompuLaw's latest version of the Vision Web Portal offers many major benefits, including the ability to customize screens and reports and provide controlled access to firm clients for specific matters.  In the Web Portal session, users will learn about the basic functionality of the program for staff training purposes, the Web Portal Configuration Manager, and how to run reports and submit calendar requests (additions, changes and removals) to docketing or administrative personnel.

“Our new online classes are designed for firms that want to more fully understand the unique capabilities that Vision and its add-on products have to offer, allowing legal professionals to make better informed decisions on which methods will work best for their firm,” said Joseph C. Scott, J.D., Vice President and General Manager, CompuLaw, LLC.  “The Internet makes training more flexible and convenient, and we are pleased to provide this level of support for our customers.”

CompuLaw products enable attorneys to automatically schedule critical dates in accordance with court rules, greatly reducing the possibility of missing deadlines through error-prone and time-consuming manual docket calculations.  Vision software also eliminates manual tracking, thereby reducing the need to increase staff as the practice grows, which reduces overhead.   CompuLaw offers rules databases for all 50 states, including State, Federal, Appellate, Supreme Court, Bankruptcy, Intellectual Property and more.

The Webinar sessions are designed to augment comprehensive and custom on-site training for new installations. CompuLaw also provides a toll-free 800 help line for ongoing support for its users.  Vision users who are interested can learn more about the seminars at www.compulaw.com.
