CompuLaw Releases Vision™ 8.77 with
Vision Sync for Microsoft Exchange

LOS ANGELES – April 5, 2005 - CompuLaw LLC, publisher of calendar/docket software with built-in court rules databases, announced today the release of Vision 8.77 with Vision Sync for Exchange, a powerful application for firms that utilize Microsoft Exchange® servers. Other modifications in version 8.77 include enhanced reporting features, more advanced searching capabilities and speed improvements for audit reports. In addition, Vision customers using the Lotus Notes™ integration can synchronize their Vision calendar items with their PDAs, including BlackBerry®, through their Lotus Notes calendar.

The Vision Sync for Exchange application allows CompuLaw customers to synchronize their Vision calendar data (i.e. court deadlines, tasks and reminders) directly with Exchange, offering firms the following benefits:
• Central installation – no workstation components required. The application is installed on any server on the same domain as the firm’s Exchange server.
• Timesavings – Vision Sync for Exchange runs entirely on the server, avoiding Outlook Client security issues and messages. The user controls the primary account that has access to the firm’s Exchange Data Store, and this information is encrypted when stored.
• Detailed activity logs - detailed logs of the synchronization process can be produced and e-mailed to each user. A summary log can also be created and sent to the firm’s application administrator.
• Easy setup and maintenance – a central administration application allows administrators to quickly and easily add and maintain users. The administration application works with the Active Directory to make the user setup and maintenance process as simple as possible.
• Automated process - automatically run the synchronization process using the Windows Task Scheduler.
• Latest technology – the application is .NET based and uses the latest Microsoft technologies to ensure a reliable integration with Exchange.

“Version 8.77 offers significant enhancements to Vision’s By Timekeeper to Email, Matter, Audit and User Defined reports,” said David J. Kalmick, president and CEO of CompuLaw. “Also included with this release is the Vision Sync for Exchange application, an extremely reliable feature that transfers dates and tasks from Vision directly into the user’s Exchange accounts, rather than having to synchronize with the Outlook client running on each workstation. Vision Sync for Exchange will be distributed to all customers with Version 8.77, at no additional cost.”
