CompuLaw Releases Rules Database Package for
State Trademark Registrations & Renewals

LOS ANGELES – August 3, 2006 – CompuLaw LLC, publisher of calendar/docket software with built-in court rules databases, announced today the release of a comprehensive collection of calendaring rules for attorneys that utilize the Rules of Practice and Procedure for State Trademark Registrations and Renewals.  CompuLaw’s new court rules package includes separate rule sets for all 50 states, allowing attorneys to monitor their cases and keep track of all related deadlines.

The State Trademark Registration and Renewals package also takes advantage of some of CompuLaw’s most advanced software features of Vision, its calendar/docket software package. Vision’s Case Summary feature allows for quick and easy calendaring and monitoring of dates as well as the tracking of trademark data.  The Exclusions feature gives users the flexibility to exclude renewal reminders for individual matters or for specific attorney calendars.  Furthermore, the new rules package includes Jurisdiction Summary Reports, which list the trademark filing and renewal requirements for each state as well as convenient links to relevant Web sites.

“CompuLaw’s Intellectual Property calendaring databases already include rules for U.S. Patent and Trademarks, the Patent Cooperation Treaty and the Madrid Protocol,” said Joseph C. Scott, J.D., Vice President and General Manager, CompuLaw, LLC.  “We are now pleased to offer our customers a valuable addition to our IP databases – the State Trademark Registration and Renewals package.  CompuLaw’s court rules make tracking critical dates and deadlines simple, allowing attorneys to build their practices with less risk exposure.”

In 2005, CompuLaw released 245 rules updates and 100 new rule sets for numerous jurisdictions across the United States, including Arizona, California, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.  CompuLaw has also released many specialized rule sets such as the Federal Communications Commission, American Arbitration Association, UNCITRAL Arbitration Association, U.S. Bankruptcy Courts and the New York Stock Exchange Arbitration Rules calendaring databases.  For the complete list of CompuLaw rule databases, visit www.compulaw.com.
