More Leading Firms Sponsor CompuLaw User Group Meetings

LOS ANGELES – December 21, 2007 – CompuLaw LLC, CompuLaw LLC, publisher of calendar/docket software with built-in court rules databases, announced today a series of law firm-sponsored user group meetings for its popular Vision calendar/docket and matter management software. Developed solely by CompuLaw customer law firms in efforts to educate legal professionals on best practices in court calendaring, each session covers new features and benefits of both CompuLaw Vision™ and the CompuLaw Vision Web Portal™.  In addition, virtual user groups are often available for those legal professionals not able to travel to the scheduled event.

“Our CompuLaw user group meeting was an excellent way to discuss the latest software features, increase networking, and reveal techniques that allow legal professionals to take full advantage of the countless benefits Vision software has to offer,” said Penny Clarke, J.D., Litigation Docketing Manager at Kilpatrick Stockton LLP.  “We had a terrific turnout, and for those who could not attend, we offered ‘virtual meeting’ participation via the Web. With CompuLaw’s assistance and guidance, the meeting was a tremendous success.”

Prior user group meetings include Kilpatrick Stockton LLP (Atlanta, GA), DLA Piper US LLP (Chicago, IL), Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP (San Francisco, CA), and Latham & Watkins LLP (Los Angeles, CA).  Upcoming sessions include Bryan Cave LLP (Kansas City, Kansas) and Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP (Washington, DC).  For a complete listing of scheduled user group meetings, visit www.compulaw.com.

“CompuLaw has received calls from dozens of leading law firms asking for our assistance in organizing their own local user group events,” said David J. Kalmick, president and CEO of CompuLaw.  “We are impressed with their initiative, and are happy to support their efforts to further explore Vision’s functionality and benefits.  Helping our customers grow and succeed has always been a top priority for CompuLaw.”

Vision is CompuLaw’s trusted calendar/docket and matter management software that enables attorneys to automatically schedule critical dates in accordance with court rules, greatly reducing the possibility of missing deadlines through error-prone and time-consuming manual docket calculations. A full-featured 32-bit application for Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 and XP, Vision is also available in MS SQL and MSDE versions.  Vision integrates with Microsoft Outlook®, Novell GroupWise®, Lotus Notes™ and the CompuLaw Vision Web Portal™.  The Web Portal uses Internet/Intranet technology to provide users with around-the-clock access to their schedules from any location, via their Web browsers.
